BEFORE WE START OUT TONIGHT'S MEETING, I'D JUST LIKE TO, THERE'S A COUPLE OF SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS THAT I'D LIKE TO MAKE.

UH, WE HAVE A TEAM THAT'S GOING TO GIVE A PRESENTATION TO THE BOARD TONIGHT ON THIS, UH, VERY INTERESTING AND IMPORTANT TOPIC.

UH, I DON'T WANT TO, UH, STEAL FROM THE COMMENTS THEY'RE GOING TO MAKE,

BUT I DO WANT TO MAKE A COUPLE POINTS.

UH, FOR MANY, MANY YEARS, DECADES, THE COUNTY HAS HAD, UH, PLANS TO IMPROVE OUR SIDEWALK AND BIKE TRAIL SYSTEM, CONNECTING OUR NEIGHBORHOODS AND ALSO CONNECTING WITH OUR NEIGHBORS IN THE LAST FEW YEARS.

UH, THIS BOARD HAS GIVEN US DIRECTION TO, UH, CHANGE THE CONVERT, THOSE PLANS INTO SOME REAL PROJECTS.

AND WE'VE BEEN WORKING ON THAT.

UH, MARK BELLAMY CHAIRS, A STAFF WORKING GROUP.

THAT'S BEEN PUSHING THIS AND BASICALLY TRYING TO CONVERT, UH, GENERAL IDEAS AND TO SPECIFIC PROJECTS.

IT TAKES A LOT OF PATIENCE.

IT TAKES A LONG TIME, UH, FOR ALL KINDS OF REASONS, AND EACH PROJECT'S GOT ITS OWN PERSONALITY.

SO THEY'RE GOING TO GO INTO ALL THOSE DETAILS.

THE ONLY POINT I REALLY WANTED TO MAKE, UM, IS, UH, YOU KNOW, IF YOU'RE WONDERING OR IF YOU'RE WATCHING, WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT TO THE COUNTY? UH, IT IS MY PERSONAL VIEW THAT, OF ALL THE THINGS THAT ARE WITHIN OUR CONTROL THAT WE CAN INVEST IN TO MAKE, UH, THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF THIS COUNTY BETTER.

UH, THIS IS ONE OF THOSE THINGS.

UH, IF YOU CONNECT A SCHOOL BY SIDEWALK TO A FEW NEIGHBORHOODS, YOU CUT DOWN ON TRAFFIC.

IF YOU CONNECT SOME NEIGHBORHOODS BY SIDEWALKS OR BIKE TRAILS, UH, MAYBE SOME PEOPLE TAKE A FEW TRIPS BY BIKE OR WALKING INSTEAD OF GETTING IN THEIR CAR.

SO IT'S GOOD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT IN MOST, ESPECIALLY IT'S GOOD FOR OUR HEALTH BECAUSE WE GET OUT AND WALK AND BIKE.

AND FOR ALL THOSE REASONS, I THINK THIS IS A REALLY A GREAT INITIATIVE.

AND WE'RE RIGHT AT THAT POINT WHERE WE'RE GETTING READY TO MOVE FROM DESIGNING THINGS AND ACQUIRING EASEMENTS, UH, TO ACTUALLY, UH, STARTING TO GET THE BULLDOZERS ROLLING ON SOME OF THESE PROJECTS.

SO MARK, THANKS FOR YOUR LEADERSHIP ON THIS, UH, UH, MEMBERS OF THE BOARD.

GOOD EVENING.

SO TONIGHT FOR THIS PRESENTATION, WE ALSO HAVE AMY PARKER, UH, FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICES.

AND BETH ARTS GWEN FROM PUBLIC WORKS WITH LADIES ARE HERE AND THEY THEY'LL BE DOING THE HEAVY LIFTING ON THIS PRESENTATION THAT I WANTED TO MAKE SOME OPENING COMMENTS, AS WELL AS NEIL SAID, EACH ONE OF THESE PROJECTS HAS A LIFE OF ITS OWN.

AND IF YOU THINK BACK A FEW YEARS AGO WHERE THE BOARD HAD ASKED US TO ENTERTAIN THIS, IT'S TAKEN A LONG TIME TO GET HERE.

AND THERE'S A REASON THAT IT HAS, THERE'S NOT THAT ANY ONE OF THESE ORGANIZATIONS HAS DONE ANYTHING WRONG, BUT WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH V DOT.

WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE NAVY.

UH, THERE'S THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT FOR FEDERAL GRANTS.

ALL THE RULES ARE DIFFERENT FOR EVERY ORGANIZATION AND TO COMPLIMENT THE LADIES THAT ARE COMING UP, THEY HAVE, UH, BECOME EXPERTS AND IN THIS FIELD.

SO, UH, LEARNING, UH, THE HARD WAY.

SO WE THINK WE'RE RIGHT ON THE CUSP OF YOU REALLY SEEING SOME PROGRESS.

WE THINK THAT MOST PEOPLE, WHEN THEY THINK ABOUT CONSTRUCTION, THEY THINK THAT, OH, WELL THAT MUST BE A SHOVEL OR A BULLDOZER.

THAT'S WHEN CONSTRUCTION STARTED.

BUT IF YOU TALK TO THESE LADIES, THEY'RE GOING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING MUCH DIFFERENT.

THEY'RE GOING TO TELL YOU ABOUT THE YEAR, THE TWO YEARS, MAYBE THREE YEARS THAT IT TOOK TO GET THESE PROJECTS TO A POINT WHERE THAT SHOVEL OR THAT BULLDOZER COULD ACTUALLY HIT THE GROUND.

UM, IT'S, UH, IT'S A LABOROUS PROCESS AND THEY HAVE DONE VERY WELL WITH IT.

AND WE WANT TO SHARE THAT WITH YOU.

AND WE WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD HOW LONG IT TAKES TO GET HERE, BUT THAT FLYWHEEL IS REALLY STARTING TO TURN.

AND I THINK BEFORE THE END OF THIS YEAR, YOU'RE GOING TO SEE SOME REAL PROGRESS ON THIS.

AND I THINK IT WILL BE FOLLOWED UP BY MORE YEARS THAN THIS UH, THAT WE'RE GOING TO TALK ABOUT HERE JUST A SECOND.

SO AMY IS GOING TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT BIKE TRAILS.

AMY, UH, SITS ON A PDC COMMITTEE THAT DEALS WITH BIKE TRAILS.

SHE'S ALSO THE COUNTY'S LIAISON TO THE HISTORIC TRIANGLE BICYCLE ADVISORY COMMITTEE HIT BACK.

UH, BETH HAS BEEN WORKING WITH V DOT AND LIKE I SAID BEFORE, SHE'S BECOME QUITE THE EXPERT WITH REVENUE SHARING.

SO THOSE PROGRAMS THAT ALLOW FOR US TO USE GRANT DOLLARS TO HELP US WITH THIS CONSTRUCTION.

SO SHE SHE'S WORKING REALLY HARD ON THAT.

UM, ONE OTHER THING WE'D LIKE TO, TO SHARE WITH YOU ABOUT THIS PRESENTATION TONIGHT IS THAT WE'RE GOING TO TALK ABOUT IT IN TERMS OF WHAT'S NATIONAL, WHAT'S REGIONAL AND HOW ALL THOSE THINGS FIT INTO OUR LIVES AND THAT HOW THAT'S IMPORTANT TO US AND THE COMMUNITY.

NEIL TALKED ABOUT HOW IMPORTANT IT WAS.

HE MENTIONED THOSE THREE THINGS TO YOU ABOUT, YOU KNOW, HEALTH AND THE WELLBEING OF THE COMMUNITY.

AND SO WE WANT YOU TO HAVE A MORE GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE ABOUT THAT.

SO WE'RE GOING TO START OUT WITH SOME NATIONAL STUFF.

WE'LL TALK ABOUT SOME REGIONAL STUFF.

AND THEN,

UM, BETH IS GOING TO HIT WHAT WE'RE DOING HERE IN YORK COUNTY.

AND THEN JUST SO YOU KNOW, THIS WON'T BE THE END OF, UH, THIS TYPE OF PRESENTATION AT OUR NEXT MEETING.

YOU'LL HEAR FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE HR PDC, BOB CRUMP.

AND HE'LL TALK TO YOU ABOUT THE BIRTHPLACE OF AMERICA TRAIL, WHICH IS A REGIONAL PROJECT AS WELL.

SO, UH, AMY, WE'LL TALK ABOUT THAT JUST BRIEFLY.

AND THEN POSSIBLY AT THE END, WE'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO TALK ABOUT SOME OF THE NEW POSSIBILITIES BECAUSE NEW REVENUE SHARING IS OUT THERE AND WE'RE TRYING TO MAKE SOME DECISIONS ABOUT WHAT PROJECTS WE SHOULD RECOMMEND TO THE BOARD IN THIS NEW ROUND OF REVENUE SHARING.

IT'S NICE TO HEAR YOU SPEAK ABOUT THINGS OTHER THAN ZONING CASES, RIGHT? OKAY.

ANNUALLY, YOU REVIEW STRATEGIC PRIORITIES FOR THE COUNTY AS I'VE GOT THEM UP HERE.

AND ONE OF THEM OF COURSE, IS ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP FOCUS ON RESILIENCY.

AND THAT'S HOW, UM, BIKEWAYS WALKWAYS ALL FITS INTO THAT.

OKAY.

NATIONALLY, WE'VE GOT THE TRANS AMERICA BICYCLE TRAIL OVER 4,000 MILES LONG.

IT STARTS IN EITHER CALIFORNIA OR OREGON AND RUNS ALL THE WAY TO YORKTOWN YORKTOWN IS THE END OF IT.

UM, I RAN INTO SOMEONE FROM FRANCE A COUPLE YEARS AGO THAT HE'D ACTUALLY DONE THE WHOLE THING AND HE WAS JUST FINISHING IN YORKTOWN.

AND, UH, YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO TAKE THE FRONT WHEEL, YOUR BIKE AND DIP IT IN THE YORK RIVER WHEN YOU GET DONE THAT, AND THIS TRAIL WAS ESTABLISHED BACK IN 1976 AS OF THE BICENTENNIAL.

AND THEN WE'VE GOT THE CAPITOL TRAIL STATE TRAIL THAT RUNS FROM RICHMOND DOWN TO, UH, JAMESTOWN 51, JUST OVER 51 MILES, UH, CONNECTS, CONNECTS RICHMOND, HENRICO, CHARLES CITY AND JAMES CITY COUNTY.

AND BEYOND THAT, THE BIRTHPLACE OF AMERICA TRAILER BOAT TRAIL, AS WE CALL IT.

UM, THIS WAS, UH, THE RESULT OF A STUDY THAT WAS DONE IN 2017, UM, TO EXTEND THE CAPITOL TRAIL.

UM, THE ORANGE ON HERE IS THE CAPITOL TRAIL, OR IT ENDS THERE BY, UH, JAMESTOWN ON THE NORTH SIDE, THE PENINSULA SIDE, IT WAS TO CONNECT THE CAPITOL TRAIL, UM, DOWN AS FAR AS FORT MONROE.

AND THEN ON THE SOUTH SIDE TO CONNECT DOWN TO THE SOUTH HAMPTONS TRAIL, IT WAS A COLLABORATIVE EFFORT THAT STUDY, UH, WITH THE VITA, THE REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION PLANNING ORGANIZATION, THE REGIONAL PLANNING DISTRICT COMMITTEE, AND A VOTE TRAIL THAT ALSO INCLUDED, UH, STAFF FROM THE DIFFERENT JURISDICTIONS AND, UM, CITIZEN BICYCLE ACTIVISTS AND THE, WE STILL MEET QUARTERLY.

YOU'RE OKAY.

I, WE REALLY GOT STARTED WITH BICYCLES BACK IN THE EARLY 1990S WHEN WE ESTABLISHED THE HISTORICAL TRIANGLE BICYCLE ADVISORY COMMITTEE OR HIT BACK, I'LL TALK, I'LL REFER TO, TO PROMOTE INFORMATIONAL EDUCATIONAL BICYCLING EFFORTS AND PROVIDE RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE THREE JURISDICTIONS FOR FUTURE BIKEWAY PROJECTS.

UH, IT'S MADE UP OF A BOARD OF SUPERVISOR AND CITY COUNCIL, A CITIZEN APPOINTEES STAFF FROM EACH OF THE THREE JURISDICTIONS, WILLIAMSBURG, JAMES CITY IN YORK AND INSTITUTIONAL REPRESENTATIVES FROM COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG, NATIONAL PARK SERVICE AND COLLEGE OF WILLIAM AND MARY.

AND WE MEET QUARTERLY AS WELL.

THIS IS THE, UH, CURRENT REGIONAL BIKE WAVES MAP, UM, BASED ON RECOMMENDATIONS BY HIT BACK.

UH, IT SHOWS BOTH THE EXISTING AND PLANNED, UH, BICYCLE TRAILS.

IT'S PART OF OUR COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND WE UPDATE FUTURE BIKE TRAILS BASED ON, UH, RECOMMENDATIONS THAT WE GET, UH, DURING OUR COMP PLAN UPDATES THAT THE THREE JURISDICTIONS DO.

AND WE, WE STRESS CONNECTIVITY, UH, WITH THE ADJACENT JURISDICTIONS, AS WELL AS, UH, IN BETWEEN, UH, COMMUNITY AND RESORT, UM, REGIONAL PLACES, SCHOOLS, LIBRARIES, COMMERCIAL SITES, RECREATION FACILITIES, ET CETERA.

AND I'LL SHOW YOU A LITTLE BIT CLOSER, UM, YOU WITH THIS, BUT FIRST I WANTED TO, TO TALK ABOUT A COUPLE OF BIKEWAYS PROJECTS THAT WE'VE RECENTLY ACCOMPLISHED.

UM, THIS IS PENNIMAN ROAD.

THE BLUE LINE IS A, UH, FOUR A FOUR-FOOT SHOULDER LANE, UH, THAT WE HAD STRIPE CONNECTING PENNIMAN ROAD AT THE WILLIAMSBURG LINE WHERE THERE'S AN EXISTING BIKE TRAIL.

SO WE BASICALLY EXTENDED THAT DOWN AS FAR AS A FILLMORE

WHERE YOU SEE A GREEN LINE PICKS UP THAT IS THE PENNIMAN ROAD, GOVERNMENT ROAD, UH, RECONSTRUCTION.

AND THAT WILL INCLUDE, UH, BIKE LINKS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE ROAD AND THE LONG RANGE PLAN, UH, CONTINUE DOWN PENNIMAN UM, TO CONNECT UP ALL THE SITES ALONG THERE, INCLUDING, UH, THE WHITAKERS MILL SUBDIVISION, THE MARQUEE, UH, COMMERCIAL SITE THAT THE MARQUIS HILL SUBDIVISION, THE, UH, WATER COUNTRY, KINGS CREEK TIMESHARES, THE WEAPONS STATION AND ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE COLONIAL PARKWAY.

SO WE WANT TO CONNECT UP ALL THOSE, THOSE AREAS.

AND, UH, THIS WHOLE PEDIMENT ROAD CONNECTION IS A HIGH PRIORITY WITH HIT BACK.

ANOTHER PROJECT WE HAVE IN THE WORKS WE, UH, HAD, ARE JUST COMPLETING GETTING FUNDING FOR IS A VICTORY BOULEVARD, A, UM, OFF STREET MULTI-USE PATH, 10 FOOT, EIGHT TO 10 FOOT WIDE ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE ROAD WILL BE COMPLETED IN SEGMENTS ON THE WEST END.

IT'LL GO FROM THE NORTH BOWMAN TERRACE AS FAR AS BIG BETHEL.

AND THEN THE NEXT SEGMENT IS BIG BETHEL, AS FAR AS CARRIE'S CHAPEL.

UM, BECAUSE, UH, WORKED WITH US.

THEY'VE GOT A PROJECT ALSO FUNDED TO CARRY IT BETWEEN CARRIE'S CHAPEL ALL THE WAY OVER TO WITH CREEK ROADS, WHERE IT'LL CONNECT UP WITH AN EXISTING MULTI-USE PATH THERE AND CONNECT UP DOWN TO EVENTUALLY TO HAMPTON.

IS THAT, IS THAT ONE GOING TO BE ON THE NEXT RIGHT ON VICTORY BOULEVARD OR WHAT ADJACENT TO VICTORY OFF, NOT ON THE ROAD ADJACENT TO IT.

OKAY.

AND IT IS AN ANCILLARY, UH, BOAT CONNECTION AS WELL.

AND I'LL SHOW A MAP OF THAT.

THIS IS A LITTLE CLOSER UP VIEW OF THE, UM, OUR REGIONAL BIKE WASTE MAP.

AND I WANT TO SEND A SHOUT OUT TO CLAYBORNE PHILLIPS IN OUR GIS DEPARTMENT, AND HE WAS A GREAT HELP IN PUTTING THESE TOGETHER, UM, THE DOTS WE'VE GOT HERE, CONNECTION POINTS, SCHOOL PROPERTIES, UM, RECREATION CENTERS, PARKS LIBRARIES.

WE LOOK AT THAT AND SEE WHERE WE WANT THAT INTERNAL CONNECTIVITY OR NOT.

SEE, I'LL SEE A BUNCH OF DOTS.

I SEE BLUE DOTS, RIGHT.

BUT SO THAT, IT'S AN SCENARIO YOU WANT TO TRY AND GET YOUR BIKES BIKEWAYS CONNECTED UP TO.

UH, AND THE, UH, BOAT TRAIL IS IN RED, UM, COMING UP FROM THE, THE SOUTH THROUGH, UH, JAMES CITY AND WILLIAMSBURG.

AND, UH, WE ARE WORKING ON TWEAKING THE LOCATION OF THIS.

THIS IS THE ONE THAT WAS ADOPTED IN 2017.

UM, WE ARE WORKING ON SOME UPDATES TO THAT, AND THIS IS A LOWER COUNTY BIKEWAYS AGAIN, THE BOAT TRAIL IS IN RED AND CONNECTIVITY.

WE'VE GOT TO CONNECT IT UP TO NEWPORT NEWS PARK, BOTH IN NEWPORT NEWS AND IN YOUR COUNTY CONNECTING UP TO THE, UM, TRAILS, UH, UP IN THE, UH, BATTLEFIELD PARK, DOWN ACROSS, UH, FORT EUSTIS.

AND WE'RE GOING TO GO UP DENBY AND THEN CROSS ACROSS THE, UM, NEWPORT NEWS PROPERTY WHERE THERE'S EXISTING TRAILS AND THEN HOOK UP TO THE MAC SPORTS CENTER FROM THERE DOWN 17 TO HAMPTON HIGHWAY, THE ORIGINAL BOAT TRAIL WAS GOING DOWN BIG BETHEL AND ACROSS THE RESERVOIR.

BUT WE'RE LOOKING AT, UH, AMENDING THAT ONLY BECAUSE THAT'S GOING TO TAKE A LONG TIME TO GET THAT IMPLEMENTED.

IT WILL REMAIN ON THE REGIONAL, UH, BIKE WASTE PLAN.

UM, BUT WE'RE CHANGING IT TO GO DOWN TO, UH, OH AND DAVIS HERE WHERE THE SCHOOL IS, AND THEN TO COVENTRY WHERE THERE'S EXISTING BIKE LANES.

SO THAT GIVES US A LITTLE BIT OF AN OVERVIEW FUTURE AND, UH, EXISTING AND FUTURE BIKE TRAILS IN THE COUNTY.

AND I WILL NOW TURN IT OVER TO MS. MERTZ WHEN HE'S GOING TO TALK ABOUT, UM, SIDEWALK PROJECTS.

IF YOU COULD, MS. PARKER, IF YOU COULD HOLD ON JUST A SECOND THING, WOULD HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.

YEAH, AMY, UM, I THINK MOST PEOPLE, WHEN THEY HEAR THE TERM TRAIL THINK OF A DIRT, UH, OR SOME GRAVEL OR WHAT HAVE YOU, UH, BUT MOST OF THESE BIKE TRAILS ARE EITHER PART OF, OR JASON TO BLACKTOP, RIGHT ROADS.

THEY CAN EITHER BE A SHOULDER BIKE LANE, UM, OR MULTI-USE PATH, WHICH IS A PAVED OFF ROAD.

SO THIS IS AN 80 20 SPLIT VIDOT IS PLAYING 80% OF OUR ORIGINAL ESTIMATE.

AND WE'RE PAYING 20% OF OUR ORIGINAL ESTIMATE.

WE HAVE REQUESTED PERMISSION TO ADVERTISE THIS FOR CONSTRUCTION.

WE REQUESTED THAT PERMISSION TO BEGINNING OF MAY.

SO WE'RE HOPING TO HEAR BACK SOON.

THE NEXT PROJECT I HAVE HERE IS THE HUBBARD LANE SIDEWALK, OR RATHER, I SHOULD SAY THE EXTENSION OF THE HUBBARD LANE SIDEWALK.

IT WOULD CONNECT TO THE EXISTING, UM, SIDEWALK THAT IS ON THE SOUTHERN SIDE.

WE HAVE, UM, THIS CONNECTS IN SEVERAL NEIGHBORHOODS ALL THE WAY TO MAGRUDER ELEMENTARY.

THIS PROJECT, WE ARE GOING TO HOLD AS A SHOVEL-READY PROJECT WHILE WE SEEK SOME CREATIVE SOLUTIONS TO ADDRESS SOME DESIGN CHALLENGES THAT WE'VE COME UP WITH.

WE APPLIED FOR AND RECEIVED GRANTS FOR, UH, THIS IS THE VILLA WAY SIDEWALK.

IT'S A FIVE FOOT SIDEWALK.

WE WILL BE, IT'LL BE ON THE EAST SIDE OF VILLA WAY FROM YORKTOWN ROAD ALL THE WAY TO THE END WITH A CONNECTION MOUNT VERNON ELEMENTARY, THE FUNDS FOR THIS BECOME AVAILABLE IN 2025.

THIS IS THE LAKESIDE DRIVE SIDEWALK.

THIS ONE IS, UM, ON THE SOUTHERN SIDE OF LAKESIDE DRIVE FROM BAILEY ROAD ACROSS THE FRONT OF GRAFTON, BETHEL CROSSING LAKESIDE DRIVE WITH, UH, ANOTHER RAPID FLASHING BEACON CROSSWALK TO THE NORTHERN SIDE OF THE ROAD AND CONTINUING TO CARE AWAY TERRORISTS.

AND THESE STATE FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE IN 2026.

IF I COULD MAKE ONE MORE POINT TO MARK'S SERENDIPITOUS COMMENT, THAT WAS ALSO TRUE ABOUT BYPASS ROAD, BECAUSE OF COURSE, A NUMBER OF YEARS AGO, WE HAD COMMITTED THROUGH REVENUE SHARING TO REDO THAT SIDEWALK, CONNECTING ALL THOSE HOTELS INTO WILLIAMSBURG.

UH, AND THEN THERE WAS A PEDESTRIAN KILLED UP THERE AND SUDDENLY VIDOT WAS MOTIVATED TO WORK WITH US.

AND SO THAT CROSS-WALK PROJECT WITH THE DOTS SORT OF DROPPED IN WITH OUR WORK AND THAT SORT OF CAME TOGETHER.

BUT EVEN THOUGH IT'S TRUE, WE TRY TO DO GEOGRAPHIC BALANCE AND LOOK FOR SMALL SEGMENTS THAT ACCOMPLISH SOMETHING.

AND HE WAS TALKING ABOUT BEING SHOT AT, AS HE WAS IN HIS PARACHUTE COMING DOWN AND LANDING NEAR HIS AIRCRAFT.

THE THING THAT, UH, BILL POINTED OUT, UM, THAT I THOUGHT WAS REALLY IMPORTANT WAS HE HAS HIS AT THE VERY END OF HIS TALK, WHERE HE SAID, HE UNDERSTOOD THE, UH, THAT WHEN YOU'RE LAYING THERE, YOU GET SHOT AT YOU EITHER YOU'RE GOING TO HIT THE BEACHES OF OMAHA OR ATTACK A READOUT OR, OR VIETNAM OR, OR, UH, DESERT STORM OR ANYWHERE IN AFGHANISTAN OR ANY OF THAT IS THAT, YOU KNOW, IN THE MILITARY, YOU PUSH FORWARD, YOU PUSH FORWARD AND YOU JUST HOPE THAT YOU'RE YOU'RE, YOU KNOW, YOU'RE GONNA MAKE IT THROUGH, BUT IN, BUT YOU COULD WORRY ABOUT THAT.
