IT IS APRIL 14TH, 2021 FOR THE RECORD.

THIS IS A MEETING OF THE YORK COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION BEING HELD BY ELECTRONIC MEANS WITHOUT A QUORUM BEING PHYSICALLY ASSEMBLED IN ONE PLACE PURSUANT TO AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE ADOPTED BY THE YORK COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS ON JUNE 16TH, 2020.

THIS MEETING IS BEING HELD REMOTELY UNDER THE EMERGENCY CONTINUITY OF GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE ADOPTED UNDER CODE OF VIRGINIA SECTION 15.2 DASH 1413, ALLOWING PUBLIC MEETINGS OF COUNTY BOARDS, COMMISSIONS, AND AUTHORITIES TO MEET REMOTELY.

THIS ACTION WAS TAKEN BECAUSE OF THE HEALTH EMERGENCY RESULTING FROM THE CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC, MAKING AN ASSEMBLY OF THE COMMISSION AND STAFF AND MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC IN ONE PLACE UNSAFE BECAUSE OF THE HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS NATURE OF THE CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC.

AS WITH ALL LIVE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETINGS.

UH, THE USE WAS DISCONTINUED AT THAT POINT.

UH, SO IT EXPIRED AFTER TWO YEARS AND, UM, CHANGED OWNERSHIP.

THE NEW OWNERS WHO ARE THE APPLICANTS NOW WISH TO REINSTATE THE USE.

THIS IS THE MOREHOUSE SUBDIVISION.

UH, THE APPLICANTS PROPERTIES ARE HIGHLIGHTED IN RED TO LOTS.

UM, ALL THE PROPERTY, ALL THE BUILDINGS YOU SEE, THERE ARE SINGLE FAMILY, RESIDENTIAL ZONING MAP IN THE AREA.

UM, THE SUBJECT PROPERTY IS LOCATED WITHIN THE R 20 MEDIUM DENSITY, SINGLE FAMILY, RESIDENTIAL SURROUNDING DISTRICT RESOURCE CONSERVATION IS THE GREEN LOTS GREEN PROPERTIES.

UH, THE PARCELS TOGETHER ARE 0.4, TWO ACRES.

SO ALMOST A HALF AN ACRE.

AS I NOTED IN THE PICTURES, THERE IS A TWO CAR GARAGE WITH A SEPARATE PARKING FOR THE TOURIST HOME AND EXISTING LANDSCAPE OFFER THAT WAS ACTUALLY INSTALLED, UH, IN 2010 FOR THE ORIGINAL TOURIST HOME.

AND YOU KNOW THAT THE PROPERTY LINE DOWN THE MIDDLE, UM, OF THE PROPERTY HERE, UH, LOTS WERE ALL APPLAUDED BACK IN 1924.

SO WHAT WE WANT TO DO NOW IS WITH THIS APPLICATION, ONE OF OUR APPROVAL CONDITIONS WILL BE TO DO A LOT LINE VACATION SO THAT THIS IS ALL ONE LOT.

SO THE DWELLING AND THE TOURIST HOME AND PARKING AND EVERYTHING ARE ALL ON THE SAME LOT.

YEAH.

SO FLOOR PLAN SUBMITTED BY THE APPLICANT, TWO FLOORS LIVING ROOM, KITCHEN, DINING AREA, AND BATHROOM ON THE GROUND FLOOR, AND THEN THE BEDROOM AREA ON THE TOP, RIGHT SUMMARY 456 SQUARE FOOT TOURS HOME IN AN EXISTING ACCESSORY STRUCTURE.

IT WAS PREVIOUSLY USED BETWEEN 2010 AND 2018, UH, UNDER PERMIT NUMBER A UPC SEVEN SEVEN 77, SEVEN SEVEN, 10, UM, APPROVED IN JUNE OF 2010, ONE, UH, ONLY ONE BEDROOM, KITCHEN, DINING LIVING ROOM AND BATHROOM ON THE GROUND FLOOR.

THERE WOULD BE A MAXIMUM OF TWO GUESTS AT ANY ONE TIME.

AND THE LENGTH OF STAY ACCORDING TO THE APPLICANT WOULD RANGE FROM ONE TO 14 NIGHTS.

OWNERS WOULD RESIDE ON THE PREMISES DURING TIMES THAT THE TORSO RENTALS WOULD BE GOING ON.

UM, THERE IS ONE DEDICATED OFF STREET PARKING, UH, FOR THE TOURIST HOME TRAFFIC, UM, EXPECTED FROM A TOURIST HOME WOULD BE UP TO 10.5 ADDITIONAL DAILY VEHICLE TRIPS.

ACCORDING TO THE INSTITUTE OF TRAFFIC ENGINEERING, YOU'VE A NORMAL AVERAGE DAILY VEHICLE TRIPS FOR A SINGLE FAMILY.

DETACHED DWELLING IS NINE AND A HALF.

UH, MOREHOUSE ROAD CARRIES, UH, AN AVERAGE DAILY VEHICLE COUNT OF 240, UH, VEHICLES.

ACCORDING TO CURRENT VITA ESTIMATES AND STAFF DOESN'T BELIEVE THAT ANY ADDITIONAL TRAFFIC FROM THE TOUR'S HOME WOULD CAUSE ANY PROBLEMS FOR THE ROAD.

PROPOSED CONDITIONS.

A SITE LAYOUT FLOOR PLANS ARE SHOWN ON THE APPLICATION PLANS WOULD BE MANAGED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICANT'S NARRATIVE IN RESIDENCE, TOURIST HOME OPERATORS.

OH, THEY WOULD BE IN RESIDENCE THE ENTIRE TIME.

AND, UM, WE ACTUALLY HAD, WE HAD SENT OUT A REVISED, UM, RESOLUTION FOR THE APPLICATION TO, TO FURTHER CLARIFY THAT, UM, CONDITION NUMBER FOUR WOULD READ THE OWNERS OPERATORS OF THE TOURIST HOME SHALL RESIDE ON THE SUBJECT PROPERTY DURING TIMES OF ALL TOURIST HOME RENTALS.

SO TO CLARIFY THAT MAXIMUM ONE SUITE TWO GUESTS LIMIT AT ANY ONE TIME, ONE OFF STREET PARKING SPACE FOR THE TOURISM TO BE MAINTAINED AND THE PROPERTY LINE VACATION AND PARCEL CONSOLIDATION TO BE TAKEN CARE OF BEFORE THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE TOURIST HOME USE.

AND THE TERM OF THE SUP WOULD EXPIRE AUTOMATICALLY WITH THE CHANGE IN OWNERSHIP.

SO THE TORSO WOULD ONLY BE IN OPERATION AS LONG AS THE APPLICANTS IS CURRENT OWNERS ON THE PROPERTY IN CONCLUSION, FEEL THE OPERATIONS CONSISTENT WITH PREVIOUS TOURIST HOMES AND, AND, UH, WOULD BE RUN EXACTLY AS THE PREVIOUS TOUR.

SO MUSE HAD BEEN RUN ON THE PROPERTY.

WE, UH, RECEIVED NO COMPLAINTS DURING THE, THE EIGHT YEARS THAT THE PREVIOUS TOURIST HOME WAS IN USE ON THAT PROPERTY.

I DON'T FEEL THERE'D BE ANY ADVERSE IMPACTS ON THE SURROUNDING AREA THAT CONDITIONS WOULD LIMIT IT TO A SMALL-SCALE OPERATION.

AND WE WOULD RECOMMEND APPROVAL IN ACCORDANCE WITH RESOLUTION PC 21 DASH SIX R.

AND I WOULD NOTE WE RECEIVED NO COMMENTS FROM ANY CITIZENS IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD.

WE DID RECEIVE ONE COMMENT FROM ANOTHER CITIZEN WHO HAD RECOMMENDED, UM, DENIAL OF THE APPLICATION, AND THAT WAS FORWARDED.

UM, I PURCHASED, UH, ALONG WITH MY HUSBAND ONE 21 LAFAYETTE ROAD ABOUT A YEAR AGO, AND ANTICIPATION OF RETIRING AND MOVING BACK DOWN THERE.

UM, AND WHEN WE DID, UM, AND REALIZE THAT IT DID HAVE THE, UM, AUXILIARY DWELLING UNIT, WE DID THE, UH, THE ANTICIPATED PLAN OF, OF, UH, RENTING THAT OUT AS A, UH, AS A TOURIST HOME, WE STARTED DOING SOME RESEARCH, REALIZED THAT IT NEEDED A, UM, A SPECIAL USE PERMIT, UM, AND THEREFORE APPLIED FOR THE, UH, APPLIED FOR THE APPLICATION.

UM, WE HAVE LIVED IN THAT AREA IN THE HAMPTON ROADS AREA FOR OVER 20 YEARS, UH, IN 2015, UH, DUE TO A JOB TRANSFER, MOVED UP TO THE NORTHERN VIRGINIA AREA.

BUT AS I STATED, I'M ABOUT READY TO RETIRE AND WE ARE, AND WE ARE MOVING BACK DOWN TO, UH, TO YORKTOWN AND WE'LL BE MOVING BACK INTO, UH, INTO, UH, ONE 21 LAFAYETTE ROAD.

UM, I'VE, I'VE SPOKEN WITH THE NEIGHBORS.

UH, SOME OF THE NEIGHBORS HAVE ACTUALLY SHARED WITH ME THAT, UH, WHEN IT WAS PREVIOUSLY, UH, USED AS A TOURIST HOME, THAT THEY AVAIL THEMSELVES TO THAT OPPORTUNITY WHEN THEY HAD GUESTS BECAUSE OF ITS CLOSE PROXIMITY AND THE CONVENIENCE OF HAVING, UM, RELATIVES OR FRIENDS, UH, ABLE TO STAY THERE.

UM, SO I THINK IT WOULD ADD A BENEFIT TO, TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD.

UH, IN ADDITION, I WOULD THAT PARENTS, AUNTS, AND UNCLES, OTHER RELATIVES THAT, UH, EITHER COME TO VISIT OR COME TO, UM, PARTICIPATE IN THE GRADUATION FROM A, UM, UM, COAST GUARD, MEN AND WOMEN WHO, YOU KNOW, ARE, ARE TRAINING AND GRADUATING FROM THE COAST GUARD BASE, BE ABLE TO RENT A LOCATION THAT IS IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO THAT.

I ALSO, I THINK, WOULD BE AN ADDED BENEFIT.

SPREADSHEET PAYS FOR TOURIST HOMES WHEN IT AUGUST 20, UH, 2019 BOARD SUPERVISORS MEETING DEBRIEF, THE SCHOOL BASICALLY SAID THAT THEY DID NOT DESERVE TO CONSIDER ANY ADDITIONAL TOURIST HOME APPLICATIONS PRIOR TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES AND STANDARDS TO ASSIST THE COMMISSION AND BOARD IN EVALUATING SUCH APPLICATION.

I SPOKE AT THAT MEETING AND POINTED OUT THE NEED FOR STRATEGIC PLAN FOR STR.

NOW, AS WAS SAID, YOU HELD ORC SESSIONS AND DID COME UP WITH A FEW ITEMS THAT WERE APPROVED IN MARCH OF 2020, BUT THOSE FOUR AMENDMENTS REALLY DID NOTHING TO ESTABLISH A STRATEGIC PLAN OR GUIDANCE, THE ISSUE OF STRS AND THE COUNTY.

AND THERE HAVE BEEN NO OTHER UPDATES SINCE THEN, UH, MEMBERS OF THE PRESERVED QUEEN'S LAKE TAM, WHICH I REPRESENT HAVE HELD A NUMBER OF MEETINGS WITH THE COUNTY STAFF THREE, TO BE EXACT, TO DISCUSS THE CONCERNS IS CONSIDERED ON A COUNTYWIDE BASIS, NOT JUST OUR NEIGHBORHOOD, UH, AND TO REALLY TRY TO DISCUSS THOSE CONCERNS AND PROVIDE CITIZEN INPUT THOUGHTS ON THE KINDS OF THINGS THAT CAN HELP DEVELOP THAT STRATEGIC VISION AND APPROACH.

THESE DISCUSSIONS HAVE BEEN MOVING SLOWLY, PRIMARILY BECAUSE OF THE COACH DEMANDS AND THE STAFF SO FORTH.

UH, MEANWHILE, APPLICATIONS CONTINUE TO COME IN AND EACH IS CONSIDERED ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS HARDLY A STRATEGIC APPROACH.

AND I WONDER HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE WONDERED YOURSELVES? HOW MANY OF THESE COULD END UP IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD NEXT TO ME, DISTRICT THREE HOLDS THE LARGEST NUMBER OF TOURIST HOMES.

DISTRICT ONE IS IN SECOND PLACE AND TOGETHER THEY CAN BOW.

THEY, THEY HAVE THE LARGEST NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS.

YOU KNOW, WE LOOK AT THESE ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS, COLLECTIVE IMPACT IS NOT PART OF THE CONVERSATION OR DECISION PROCESS.

THERE IS NO STRATEGIC ASPECT THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED.

A REQUIREMENT FOR SEP OR STR IS THAT IT IS NECESSARY AND APPROPRIATE.

WHAT'S THE BASIS FOR THAT DETERMINATION.

HAVE THERE BEEN ANY IMPACT STUDIES DONE OUTREACH TO THE CITIZENS, YOUR COUNTY ON THIS SPECIFIC MATTER? THE COMP PLAN SURVEY REALLY IS A VALID INDICATOR FOR DETERMINING THE VOICE OF THE CITIZENS IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD.

WE DID THE WORK WE KNOCKED ON OVER 400 DOORS AND DETERMINED THAT 80% OF OUR RESIDENTS DIDN'T WANT TOURISTS HOMES IN THE COMMUNITY.

AND THEY DESIRED STRONGER GUIDELINES FOR ALL STR APPLICATIONS APPLICATION.

AND I HAS STRENGTHS, BUT I'M OPPOSED TO APPROVAL OF THIS OR ANY OTHER APPLICATION BY THE PLANNING STAFF, UNTIL WE MEET THE REQUEST OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO ESTABLISH STANDARDS, TO ASSIST THEM IN THEIR DECISION PROCESS, STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES THAT PROVIDE A VISION AND A PLAN FOR THE WAY AHEAD AS YOUR COUNTY HOMEOWNER, I AM HIGHLY CONCERNED THAT THERE IS NO STRATEGIC OR PLAN FOR THESE BUSINESSES.

AND UNTIL THERE IS, WE CONTINUE TO BLINDLY ADDRESS EACH APPLICATION WITHOUT REGARD TO CUMULATIVE IMPACT OR CLEAR DIRECTION FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR NEIGHBORHOODS.

AND AT THAT TIME UNDER THE ZONING, THAT WAS IN PLACE, UM, CONVENIENCE STORES AND GAS STATIONS WERE ALLOWED AS A MATTER OF RIGHT TODAY, THEY REQUIRE A SPECIAL USE FOR IT.

SO RATHER THAN A NON-CONFORMING USE, IT IS WHAT WE CALL A LEGALLY CONFORMING SPECIAL USE, WHICH MEANS WE TREAT IT AS IF THERE WERE A SPECIAL USE PERMIT, UH, FOR THE DEVELOPMENT, THE APPLICANT, UH, PROPOSES TO, UH, PUT A, UH, ALMOST 1300 SQUARE FOOT ADDITION ONTO THE BUILDING.

AND BECAUSE THAT'S AN INCREASE IN FLOOR AREA GREATER THAN 25%, 60% TO BE EXACT, UH, IT IS CONSIDERED A MAJOR EXPANSION.

AND SO THE APPLICANT IS REQUIRED TO GO THROUGH THIS USE PERMIT PROCESS FOR APPROVAL.

UH, THERE WOULD BE NO INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF GUESTS PUMPS OR FUELING STATIONS UNDER THIS PROPOSAL.

THE APPLICANT WOULD BE ABANDONING THE SEPTIC TANK AND WOULD TIE INTO THE SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM, UH, WITH, UH, A GRINDER PUMP, UH, THAT WOULD SEND, UH, THE, UH, WASTEWATER TO THE, UH, UH, SEWER MAIN OVER ON WHITES ROW, ALONG WHITES ROAD.

UM, THE PARKING LOT, UH, IS NOT REALLY WELL-DEFINED RIGHT NOW, OR IT'D BE MUCH BETTER TO FIND WITH THIS, UH, WITH THIS PROPOSAL, IT WOULD BE RECONFIGURED, UH, ADDING SOME SPACES AND MORE CLEARLY DELINEATING THE SPACES.

UH, AN IMPORTANT THING TO NOTE IS RIGHT NOW, YOU HAVE A TWO WAY ENTRANCE ON ROUTE 17, WHICH IS FAR FROM IDEAL.

THE ENTRANCE DOES NOT MEET THE ACCESS MANAGEMENT STANDARDS BECAUSE IT'S SO CLOSE TO THE INTERSECTION, UH, AS PART OF THIS, UH, REDEVELOPMENT PLAN, UH, THIS WOULD BECOME AN ENTRANCE ONLY OFFER ROUTE 17.

SO THAT MAKES THE ACCESS AND CIRCULATION A LOT SAFER BY TAKING OUT THE ABILITY FOR CARS TO EXIT DIRECTLY ON THE ROUTE 17, THIS CLOSE TO THE INTERSECTION.

UH, ANOTHER THING I WANTED TO POINT OUT IS THAT CURRENTLY THERE'S REALLY NO STORMWATER MANAGEMENT ON SITE.

IT'S JUST BASICALLY SHEET FLOW.

THE STORMWATER GOES WHEREVER IT GOES, UH, AS PART OF THIS REDEVELOPMENT PLAN, UH, THEY WOULD BE PUTTING IN A STORMWATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, A SERIES OF, UH, GRASS SWALES AND, UM, UH, ROCKFIELD GRAVEL FILLED, UH, TRENCHES ALONG THE PARKING AREA, UH, THAT WOULD CHANNEL STORMWATER, UH, TO THE EXISTING DITCHES, UH, ON WHITES ROAD AND ROUTE 17.

AND THOSE DITCHES WOULD BE REGRADED.

SO RIGHT NOW THERE'S NO CHANNELIZATION.

UH, AND, AND SO THIS WOULD BE A MAJOR IMPROVEMENT AS FAR AS DRAINAGE ON THE SITE.

UM, THERE IS ABOUT A 50 FOOT VEGETATED BUFFER BEHIND THE BUILDING, UH, IN ORDER TO PROVIDE, TO PREPARE, UH, DEVELOP THOSE, THOSE SWALES.

UH, THEY WOULD BE DISTURBING THE, UH, CLEARING DURING SOME CLEARING BACK THERE IN THAT VEGETATIVE AREA.

I SAID, IT'S ABOUT 50 FOOT WIDE.

THEY WERE TO BE CUTTING INTO IT BY 15 FEET.

SO YOU WOULD STILL HAVE ABOUT 35 FEET ON THE PROPERTY.

AND THEN THE PROPERTY ADJACENT TO IT, UH, IS, UH, ALSO VEGETATED AND THAT'S 45 FEET WIDE, UM, AND ITS OWN GENERAL BUSINESS.

SO, UH, THERE WAS NO TRANSITIONAL BUFFER REQUIREMENT FOR THIS PROPERTY, BUT AS YOU CAN SEE, UH, THEY'LL HAVE 35 FEET OF RAMP LANDSCAPING TO THE REAR ON THE PROPERTY, ANOTHER 45 FEET ON THE ADJACENT PARCEL.

SO ABOUT 80 FEET OF LANDSCAPING BETWEEN THIS PARCEL AND THE R 20 ZONED PROPERTY, UM, TO THE WEST, UH, THIS IS IN THE ROUTE 17 CORRIDOR OVERLAY DISTRICT, OF COURSE.

UH, WE'VE INCLUDED CONDITIONS IN THE, UH, ZONING ORDINANCE SPECIFYING THAT, UH, THOSE ENCROACHMENTS INTO THE LANDSCAPE YARDS WOULD REQUIRE APPROVAL BY THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR AS REQUIRED BY THE ZONING ORDINANCE.

TRAFFIC IS, UH, UH, AND AS FAR AS THE PEAK HOUR TRAFFIC, UH, WE'RE TALKING ABOUT 57 TRIPS IN THE MORNING, 77 IN THE PM, UH, FOR CONVENIENCE STORES AND GAS STATIONS, A LARGE PERCENTAGE, MORE THAN 60% OF TRIPS, UH, ARE TYPICALLY BYPASS TRIPS, TRIPS DRAWN FROM THE EXISTING TRAFFIC STREAM.

SO WHEN YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT NEW TRIPS, YOU CAN SEE THE NUMBERS VERY LOW 21 AND 26, UH, DAILY, UH, TRAFFIC, UH, NOT ACCOUNTING FOR PAST BY TRIPS.

I SAID, BYPASS TRIPS.

I MEAN, PASS BY TRIPS.

UH, THE DAILY, UH, TRAFFIC GENERATION WOULD BE EXPECTED BY ABOUT 846, BUT THAT DOES NOT ACCOUNT FOR, UH, PASS BY TRIPS.

SO THE NUMBER OF NUTRIENTS WOULD BE SOMEWHAT LOWER THAN THAT.

THESE NUMBERS ARE NOT HIGH ENOUGH TO WARRANT A TRAFFIC IMPACT ANALYSIS FOR THE PROJECT WE'RE RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE PROJECT.

UH, I THINK WHEN, UH, THE EXPANSION IS COMPLETED, WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE IS A GREENER SITE.

UH, YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE, UH, IT'S GOING TO BE BETTER ENVIRONMENTALLY BECAUSE YOU'LL HAVE AN ACTUAL STORM WATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, WHICH YOU DON'T HAVE CURRENTLY.

UH, WE'LL ALSO BE TAKING, UH, ABANDONING A SEPTIC TANK SEPTIC SYSTEM.

AND, UH, IT'S PROBABLY GOING TO BE TYING INTO THE SEWER SYSTEM, WHICH IS AN IMPROVEMENT.

UH, ONE THING I NEGLECTED TO MENTION WHEN I WAS SHOWING THE SKETCH PLAN, THE FRONT LANDSCAPE YARD ALONG ROUTE 17 IS GOING TO ACTUALLY BE WIDER WITH THE RECONFIGURATION OF THE PARKING LOT.

UH, SO YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE A WIDER FRONT LANDSCAPE YARD THERE THERE'LL BE REQUIRED TO PUT IN SOME PLANTINGS, UH, TO MEET THE LANDSCAPING REQUIREMENTS OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE.

UM, THERE'S NOT A LOT OUT THERE NOW, AS FAR AS LANDSCAPING.

AND I MENTIONED THE TRAFFIC SAFETY BENEFITS, UH, WITH DOING AWAY WITH THE EXIT ONTO ROUTE 17, REDOING THAT WHOLE, UH, ENTRANCE, UH, INTO AN ENTRANCE HOMEAWAY.

UH, THE ONE ITEM ON THERE THAT I, THAT I WANT TO MENTION IS, UH, BECAUSE IT'S BEEN AN ISSUE FOR ABOUT NINE YEARS NOW, BACK WHEN THE COMMONWEALTH DRIVE OR COMMONWEALTH GREEN WAS APPROVED, MIXED USE DEVELOPMENT AT THE END OF COMMONWEALTH RIDE, YOU KNOW, ONE OF THE CONDITIONS, ONE OF THE REQUIREMENTS WAS A ROAD CONNECTION OUT TO ROUTE 17.

AND YOU ALL MAY RECALL A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO, UH, THE BOARD AND YOU ALL APPROVED A SECOND EXTENSION OF THE DEADLINE FOR PROVIDING THAT ROAD CONNECTION.

ORIGINALLY, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BUILT NOVEMBER BY NOVEMBER OF 2016.

UH, THEY RAN INTO SOME WEAPONS PROBLEMS AND SOME OTHER PROBLEMS. SO THEY CAME BACK TO THE BOARD FOR A COUPLE OF EXTENSIONS OF THAT DEADLINE.

UM, BUT HAPPILY, UH, THEY HAVE ACTUALLY SUBMITTED A SITE PLAN FOR THOSE RIGHT AWAY IMPROVEMENTS, THE ROAD CONNECTION AND THE EXTENSION OF, UH, WATER AND SEWER OUT TO ROUTE 17.

SO THAT'S A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION, UH, BASED ON THE, UH, CONDITIONS AS THEY WERE MOST RECENTLY AMENDED.

THE DEADLINE FOR CONSTRUCTING THAT ROAD IS NOW OCTOBER 5TH OF 2022.

SO HOPEFULLY THEY CAN MEET THAT AND WILL NOT HAVE TO BE COMING BACK FOR ANOTHER EXTENSION.

UH, THE PLAN IS IN THE WORKS.

AND SO SHE'S GONNA, SHE'S GONNA BE WORKING, UH, IN THE PLANNING DIVISION AS A CONTRACT EMPLOYEE.

UM, I DON'T KNOW THAT SHE'LL BE HANDLING PLANNING CASES NECESSARILY, BUT, UH, HE MAY BE INTERACTING WITH HER AT SOME POINT.
